We are in the unique habit of tracking and publishing our results. In this way we can constantly improve our process by finding out what is working and what is not. We then compare that data with published medical and physical therapy outcomes to see how we measure up. This study of our treatment outcomes was carried out by the Institute of Evidence-Based Chiropractic. They designed the study, created the surveys, studied them and distilled the information.
For our patients Having pain for 12 weeks or less before seeking treatment:
For Lowback Pain and Sciatica Patients the data shows 59.6% of people under our care having excellent results, 26.2% getting very good results and the remaining 14.2% having a fair outcome with none having poor results or chronic disability.
Neck Pain Patients reported 64.5% having an excellent outcome and 31.4% with a very good result leaving just 4.2% in the fair category and againnone with a poor outcome or chronic disability.
Current research shows Chronic Symptoms remain after medical treatment including Physical Therapy in 7% to 34% of patients. That means that under standard medical treatment the people with acute low back pain will still have severe back pain with substantial physical limitations 1 year after their first treatment.
